Thank you for stopping by! My name is Moses, the maker behind Chosen Craft Co. I found my passion for woodworking not too long ago, and it has slowly grown into a business I truly care about and cherish. My wife, Cali, has been the biggest support every step of the way. We both enjoy spending time on the beach and outdoors. It’s super fun and easy to explore when your wife is a professional photographer!
I am a follower of Jesus. Living a life that reflects His goodness and mercy is an important part of who I am. One of the best things about being a Christian is the church community that truly cares for you and lifts you up when you need.
About the Business
The founding of Chosen Craft Co is a twofold story.
From the time Cali and I got engaged, we could not stop thinking about our future home together. We shopped both in person and online to get some ideas for the house design, then wondered if I would be able to build some of the furniture myself. I kept convincing Cali the same thing over and over again, “I’ll just build it and save money!” The thought of saving money and perhaps trying to prove something seemed simple, UNTIL I went down the rabbit hole and discovered the craftsmanship in woodworking. Classic, right?
The second part is simply persistence. I wanted woodworking to be a part of who I am and not just a seasonal hobby. So I continued to fuel my passion for woodworking through hands-on projects, countless research, and dedicating my time to learn the business.
It’s a constant learning curve to be a business owner, but it’s been a great experience so far!
